01
Files
- The formats and resolution match how the client will actually use the work.
- The number of deliverables is what you agreed on, nothing missing.
- File names are clear and consistent, no export_final_v3_REAL.
- No stray working files, test exports or hidden folders slipped in.
- The total size is something the client can realistically download.
02
Presentation
- A cover image is set, so the first thing they see is the work.
- Your name, logo and accent colour are on the page, not someone else's.
- A short title or note tells the client what they are looking at.
03
Access and safety
- It is going to the right recipient, checked twice.
- A password is on if the work is sensitive or under embargo.
- The expiry date gives the client enough time to download and reply.
- You kept your own copy, the delivery is not your only backup.
04
Sign-off
- It is clear what needs approval and what is final.
- The number of included revision rounds is stated up front.
- Usage or licence terms are attached if the work will be published.
- The approve action is obvious, the client cannot miss it.
05
Follow-up
- A short message sets the next step and the tone.
- There is a deadline for feedback, so it does not drift for weeks.
- The client knows how to reach you with a question.
xFer builds most of this into the delivery itself: a branded page, a cover, one-click approval, an expiry you set.
